Singer Kate Ceberano has spent the past year putting her life into words for an autobiography due out next month.
Journalist Tom Gilling co-authored the book I'm Talking with Ceberano. The title is a reference to her `80s band I'm Talking which gave the singer her first Top 10 hit with Trust Me in 1984. The band released the top 20 album Bear Witness (1986) and delivered a string of hits such as Lead The Way, Love Don't Live Here Anymore, Do You Wanna Be and Holy Word.
Prior to I'm Talking, Ceberano was a backing singer for Models and sang on Barbados and Out Of Mind, Out of Sight. As a solo artist she had hits with Bedroom Eyes, Love Dimension, Brave and Pash as well as a cover of Everything's Alright with John Farnham and Jon Stevens.
I'm Talking will be published by Hachette Australia on March 25.
