Sydney Roosters recruit Luke Keary says he wouldn't have joined the NRL club unless he thought they were capable of emulating the title success he tasted at South Sydney.

Five-eighth Keary is looking forward to forging a halves combination with Mitchell Pearce, after spending four seasons at Souths and playing in their 2014 premiership-winning side.

" I wouldn't be here if I didn't think they had the culture and the squad to go all the way and they have got the coach and the staff around that have been there and done that," Keary said.
