The prime minister says Islamic State is continuing to use its fighting in Iraq and Syria as a propaganda tool to recruit terrorists.
"As they are coming under greater pressure, as they are losing control of cities, towns and territories, they are being recognised as a failing organisation and so they are - their recruiting power and propaganda is much less compelling than it was and we have to keep up that fight," Mr Turnbull told reporters in Sydney on Monday.
