Kendall Jenner a standout on the catwalk

Kendall Jenner finds it easier to understand the hard work that goes into a runway show now that she's walked in one herself.

Kendall Jenner says she's discovered her love of the catwalk.

The 18-year-old half-sister of Kim Kardashian surprised the fashion world when she walked for Marc Jacobs' New York Fashion Week show.

She stood out by wearing a cropped blonde wig, bleaching her eyebrows and donning a see-through top that showed off her bare breasts.

In the past she's featured on the cover of Miss Vogue Australia and modelled for Sherri Hill's prom dress line, but the rising style star says she's found her true love on the catwalk.

"Now that I've done a major show like that, I have a really new appreciation for models on the runway," she mused to elle.com, adding that she also loves taking a break and sitting front row.

"And when I sit front row now, I understand all the hard work that happens a little bit better."

On Sunday the brunette beauty headed to London Fashion Week to take in the Topshop Unique show.

She wore a long baggy black top with leather sleeves and skinny leather trousers by the British high street store.

"I'm really excited to be here for Topshop because I love their clothing, and I think it's going to be an amazing show," she said before things kicked off.

"I'm wearing Topshop today, obviously, but the thing is, I would wear it no matter what. Even if I wasn't here!"

Kendall's eyebrows were back to normal for the London show and she revealed it was quite easy dyeing them dark brown again.

Her sheer top didn't go down well with some fans, but her half-sister Khloe Kardashian stuck up for the model on Twitter.

"She's too dope for you 2 understand! Yall would trade places with her in a second! The hate is real! Lol bye haters! #ModelLife #Simple (sic)," the TV star wrote.
