Martin Kennedy is holding up well despite the drug allegations against him, his Sydney Roosters teammates say.
Last week Kennedy was provisionally suspended from the NRL over claims of the possession and attempted use of banned substances.
The 26-year-old prop faces a two-year ban from the NRL if he is found guilty of the charges.
The Roosters enjoyed a 20-12 win over Penrith on Monday night to conclude the NRL's third round, the club's first match since Kennedy became the latest player to become embroiled in ASADA's long-running investigation into rugby league.
Prop Jared Waerea-Hargreaves has been in regular contact with Kennedy since the recent developments and says he is remaining positive.
"He is good, he is a close mate of mine and he has my full support," Waerea-Hargreaves told AAP.
"I can't comment too much about it but he is all good.
"He is training still and he is in good spirits.
"I've been in touch with him and his family, we have been mates since schooldays and he is going okay.
"He is a positive man and he is getting on with things and he is himself, so that is a good thing.
Rookie prop Dylan Napa said he too had been in regular contact with Kennedy.
"I have visited him and he is alright," Napa said.
"It is a tough situation obviously.
"He is a good mate of mine, I am looking out for him and I'm there if he needs me.
"He is travelling alright, as a team we are thinking of him and he is staying positive, which is good to see."
No date has yet been set for when Kennedy will face the NRL's anti-doping tribunal.
