Kenya to host 2018 African Nations soccer

Soccer's 2018 African Nations Championship will be hosted by Kenya, following on from the 2016 edition to be staged in Rwanda.

Kenya have been chosen to host the 2018 African Nations Championship, the organisers of the biennial tournament for home-based footballers said on Monday.

They will become the second successive country from east and central Africa to stage the three-week championship.

Rwanda are the 2016 hosts.

Libya won the third edition in Cape Town this month, defeating Ghana on penalties after a goalless final to follow the Democratic Republic of Congo and Tunisia as champions.
