Kidman kicks out for Jimmy Choo campaign

Nicole Kidman enjoyed channelling her inner rock chick and "rebellious spirit" in her latest Jimmy Choo campaign shoot.

Nicole Kidman got in touch with her rebellious side for her new Jimmy Choo campaign.

The Oscar-winning actress has fronted the footwear designer's campaigns three times before.

For her fourth season, the Australian actress says she channelled her inner rock chick.

"It was fun to embrace a more rebellious spirit for Jimmy Choo; we listened to a lot of great rock music to get in the mood for the shoot," Kidman has told Britain's Daily Mail newspaper.

Kidman shot the campaign images with photographer Willy Vanderperre, who put her long limbs to good use.

In one picture, in which Kidman models the brand's STG650 ($A1174.98) Marlin boot, she wears just a white tuxedo jacket buttoned at the naval, teamed with a STG2495 ($A4510.12) slouchy, python Anna bag. She poses hand on hip, with her tousled hair flowing around her shoulders.

"I really enjoyed working with Willy, he gave me such great direction," Kidman said. "It was like being on a film set."

The shots will be unveiled globally as part of the campaign in May.

Sandra Choi, creative director of Jimmy Choo, praised Kidman's ability to embody this collection's "tougher attitude and rebellious glamour".

She added: "She's a true chameleon in how she transforms herself each season creating such strong imagery. She looks effortlessly alluring in the campaign."
