South Korean media discovered accounts thought to belong to Kim Han-sol, the 16-year-old son of Kim Jong-nam, Kim Jong-il's eldest son.

Kim Han-sol has enrolled in a private school in Bosnia Herezegovina.

He says he prefers democracy and loves American movies: "Love Actually" and "Remember the Titans" are among his favourites.

One of is post is a picture of him with his girlfriend, and he comments on how much he would miss her.

The teen, with bleached blonde hair and dressed stylishly, appears to be aware of the plight of the people living under his grandfather's iron-fisted rule.

"CNN doesn't know the mysteries of North Korea. I'm actually studying in Macau, I know my people are hungry, I'd do anything to help them," he said.

Kim Han-sol grew up in Macau, when it was still a Portuguese territory, and China, where his father Kim Jong-nam has been living in exile.

On his Facebook page, the father appears bitter at being passed over to succeed his father and insults his half-brother Kim Jong-un chosen in his place.
