King lines up for 100th Highlanders game

The Highlanders have made three changes to their starting line-up after beating the Sharks in Durban.

Hard-working prop Chris King has been named to play his 100th game for the Highlanders when they meet the Stormers in Cape Town on Sunday morning (AEST).

The Highlanders are looking for a repeat of their performance last week in South Africa when they hammered the Sharks 34-18 in Durban, but have had to make a couple of injury-enforced changes.

Winger Patrick Osborne (ankle) and loosehead prop Craig Millar (shoulder) have returned to New Zealand this week.

Trent Renata takes Osborne's left wing spot, while John Hardie replaces Shane Christie as openside flanker and lock Josh Bekhuis replaces Jarrad Hoeta in the starting 15.

Matias Diaz has joined the team in South Africa to fill Millar's seat on the reserves bench.

Highlanders: Ben Smith (co-captain), Richard Buckman, Malakai Fekitoa, Shaun Treeby, Trent Renata, Lima Sopoaga, Aaron Smith, Nasi Manu (co-captain), John Hardie, Elliot Dixon, Joe Wheeler, Josh Bekhuis, Chris King, Liam Coltman, Kane Hames. Reserves: Brayden Mitchell, Matias Diaz, Ma'afu Fia, Jarrad Hoeata, Shane Christie, Fumiaki Tanaka, Jason Emery, Phil Burleigh.
