Kitten injured after thrown from van

RSPCA WA is investigating an incident in which a kitten was thrown from a moving van in Perth's north, leaving it severely injured.

A kitten has had its leg maimed after being thrown from a moving van in Perth's far north.

RSPCA WA deputy chief inspector Sharon Morgan said a passenger in a small white van was seen throwing the black and white kitten out of the window about 3.20pm on Monday on Marmion Avenue in Quinns Rocks.

A person in the car behind the van stopped, picked the kitten off the road and took her to the vet.

Ms Morgan said the kitten's left rear leg may have to be amputated after it was badly injured in the incident.

She said the kitten also suffered trauma to her face and her front right leg is paralysed.

"This type of behaviour is outrageous and were seeking assistance from the public to provide information regarding this incident," Inspector Morgan said.
