David Klemmer can't see himself wearing any colours other than blue and white, emphatically declaring his desire to stay at Canterbury.
Parramatta have reportedly enquired about poaching the NSW and Australian prop as the Bulldogs seek to offload players and untangle their NRL salary cap mess for 2019.
While rival clubs are seeking to pick the Dogs' carcass, Klemmer on Tuesday made a strong statement that he wanted to stay put at Belmore.
"I'm contracted here at the moment and I could never see myself leaving, I love the club," Klemmer said.
"I was a supporter of the club as a kid, it would be hard to leave.
"The club hasn't contacted me yet."
Fullback Moses Mbye is being shopped around with the revitalised No.1 reportedly set to earn $900,000 next year on a heavily back-ended deal.
Brett and Josh Morris have all but conceded they will have to find a new home and Greg Eastwood has been told to look elsewhere.
It's believed the club has just $750,000 to spend in their salary cap next year with 14 players off-contract.
Bulldogs management have downplayed suggestions Klemmer could be let go so they could be proactive in the open market.
An All Saints Toongabbie junior, Klemmer came out of the Parramatta catchment but said he had fallen in love with Canterbury as a kid and couldn't see himself playing at the Eels or any club other than the Bulldogs.
"It's frustrating to hear but I could never leave this club," Klemmer siad.
"It's hard to hear but I've just got to keep turning up here.
"It's a business and if you do get the tap, so be it.
"But it'd be pretty hard to leave."
