Knife-wielding robber to face Qld court

A man who allegedly robbed two women within the space of about an hour, punching one in the face and making off with her car, will face a Gold Coast court.

A man will face court accused of robbing two women with a large knife on the Gold Coast.

The 33-year-old Biggera Waters man allegedly robbed the women in separate incidents on Friday afternoon, punching one in the face before making off with her car.

He was arrested and charged after local police scoured the Southport area and is expected to face Southport Magistrates Court on Saturday.
