Korea's Hwang leads Panasonic Open golf

Korean Hwang Jung-gon is the leader after the third round of the Panasonic Open golf tournament in Japan.

Hwang Jung-gon of South Korea has fired a six-under 65 on Saturday to grab a one-stroke lead after the third round of the Panasonic Open golf tournament in Japan.

Hwang is at 10-under to be a shot clear of a trio of players.

Japanese duo Mikumu Horikawa - who had the day's lowest score of 63 at the Chiba Country Club - and Hiroshi Iwata are at nine under with Thailand's Prayad Marksaeng.

Jason Knutzon of the United States, who led the first two rounds, struggled to shoot a four-over round of 75 to be tied for 15th.

Won Joon Lee is Australia's best at four under - in a tie for 20th - after he carded an even-par 71 in round three.

Adam Bland had a 69 to be three under, a shot ahead of Terry Pilkadaris (70) with Brendan Jones (72) at even par, rounding out the Aussie contingent playing on the weekend.
