Kristen Stewart is a budding poet

Kristen Stewart has shared a sample of her poetry in America's Marie Claire magazine.

Twilight star Kristen Stewart spends her free time writing poetry and says she's sometimes blown away by her own words.

The actress shared a sample of her work during an interview with America's Marie Claire magazine and allowed the editors to publish the poem in full.

Stewart reveals she wrote My Heart Is A Wiffle Ball/Freedom Pole last year during a road trip across Texas.

"I don't want to sound so f***ing utterly pretentious... but after I write something, I go, 'Holy f***, that's crazy.' It's the same thing with acting: If I do a good scene, I'm always like, 'Whoa, that's really dope'," she says.

An extract from the poem reads, "I reared digital moonlight You read its clock, scrawled neon across that black Kismetly ... ubiquitously crest fallen Thrown down to strafe your foothills ... I'll suck the bones pretty."
