Norway's Henrik Kristoffersen has won the penultimate World Cup slalom race of the season at Kranjska Gora after favourite Marcel Hirscher blew his chances on the first run.
In third place after a first leg dominated by Mattias Hargin of Sweden, Kristoffersen produced a near flawless second run to win by 00.24secs over Italy's Giuliano Razzoli with Hargin having to settle for a place on the podium at 00.86secs.
Overall World Cup leader Hirscher nearly fell on the first leg and lagged over two seconds off the pace.
He went for broke second time out and produced an outstanding efort but it was only good enough for sixth place.
The consolation for the Austrian was that he increased his lead atop the overall standings over second-placed Kjetil Jansrud of Norway.
