Australia is being urged to do more for war-affected Syrians as a major United Nations donors conference gets underway in Kuwait.
The Syrian conflict has entered its fifth year, and aid organisation World Vision says humanitarian agencies are struggling to help millions of Syrians in need of assistance.
This time around the UN is aiming to raise over (US)$8 billion.
