The BBC has unveiled a new star-studded music video of artists performing the Beach Boys classic 'God only knows.'

Performers in the song's music video include One Direction, Lorde, Stevie Wonder, Stevie Wonder, Florence Welch, Sir Elton John, Brian Wilson - the song’s writer – and many more.

Wilson told The Guardian he was overjoyed with how the song came together.

"All of the artists did such a beautiful job I can’t thank them enough,” he said.

The video comes 17 years after the BBC released an all-star version of Lou Reed’s 'Perfect Day' to generate donations to the broadcaster.

This latest song was released to mark the launch of BBC Music and will be released as a single, with all money raised going to the BBC’s Children in Need charity.
