Kylie quits UK Voice amid tour clash

She may be about to hit Australian TV screens in The Voice but Kylie Minogue has quit the UK version of the show after just one season.

Kylie Minogue has quit the British version of The Voice after one series to concentrate on her own music career.

The singer thanked fans for their "incredible support" and confirmed she would not return for the next series.

"I'm sad to say that, due to the timing of my European tour, I won't be back for season four," Minogue said.

"I absolutely loved my time on the show, and I'll miss all of the incredible people who were a part of my experience."

Minogue is about to hit Australian screens in the Nine Network version of the talent quest, joining season three of The Voice Australia with returning coaches Ricky Martin and Joel Madden and fellow The Voice UK coach will.i.am.
