Kyrgios drops one spot in ATP rankings

Nick Kyrgios has dropped one spot to No.14 in the latest ATP world rankings, while Kei Nishikori has jumped to fourth.

Suspended tennis star Nick Kyrgios has dropped one spot to No.14 in the latest ATP world rankings.

Kyrgios was banned for eight weeks and fined more than $50,000 for 'not giving his best effort' at last month's Shanghai Masters.

The Australian's season is over with no more tournaments scheduled for 2016 other than this month's elite eight-man World Tour Finals in London which Kyrgios doesn't qualify for.

In other rankings news, Japan's Kei Nishikori jumped to fourth while Roger Federer slipped to ninth.

Nishikori, who lost Sunday's Swiss Indoors final to Croatia's Marin Cilic, moved from fifth above Canada's Milos Raonic.

Novak Djokovic of Serbia remains top in an unchanged leading three, ahead of Britain's Andy Murray and Stan Wawrinka of Switzerland, while Federer dropped two spots.

Gael Monfils of France and Dominic Thiem of Austria have both gained a place while Cilic enters the top 10, moving up two places from 12th.
