Nick Kyrgios beat world No.18 Ivo Karlovic 7-6 7-6 on Friday to make Malaysian Open semi-finals.

Nick Kyrgios has beat world No.18 Ivo Karlovic 7-6 7-6 to make Malaysian Open semi-finals.

The 20-year-old fired down 11 aces against the Croatian, the same player he defeated in the second round of the 2015 Australian Open in January.

He will now face the winner of Vasek Pospisil and world No.17 Feliciano Lopez on Saturday.
