Treasurer Scott Morrison says Labor has been dragged kicking and screaming in its panic to find budget savings.

Mr Morrison has jumped on the opposition's pending announcement on spending cuts saying Labor can't be trusted given it has consistently "flipped and flopped" on decisions.

"They've been dragged kicking and screaming in their budget panic room," Mr Morrison told ABC radio on Friday.
