Labor will bring mature, disciplined government to Queensland, a senior MP says.
Jackie Trad says her party is "hanging on every count" like the rest of Queensland, but she's sounding ever more confident Labor will form government.
Whether Labor wins majority or minority rule, with the help of crossbenchers, is still up in the air.
But Ms Trad says her party has a clear plan and promises to lead a mature government.
"If Labor forms government in this state what you will get is maturity, you will get discipline and you will get jobs growth," the re-elected MP said in Brisbane.
"We will roll up our sleeves and we will get to work, working, listening and collaborating with everyone, the business community, unions, everyone."
Labor was ahead in 44 seats on Wednesday morning, one short of the number it needs to form majority government.
Ms Trad also took a swipe at rumours that the "leaderless rabble" of the LNP were considering scrapping their controversial asset sales policy.
"Without asset sales they have nothing," she said.
Heavily in the running to be Annastacia Palascuk's deputy, Ms Trad categorically ruled out Labor making any deals with One Nation's Pauline Hanson, who was neck and neck with the LNP's Ian Rickuss in the seat of Lockyer on Wednesday.
