Labor's plan to create age-friendly nation

Federal Labor will review how aged care services are provided as part of a national ageing strategy, if it wins the July 2 election.

LABOR'S PLAN FOR AN AGE-FRIENDLY NATION

* Conduct an independent review of aged-care strategy.

* Address problems with My Aged Care website within first 100 days.

* Work with the sector and unions on the need for more aged-care workers and conditions for existing employees.

* Create an Active Ageing Fund to support programs to reduce the risk of dementia, improve physical activities and healthy lifestyles.
