Pop singer Lady Gaga will perform in Australia later this year as part of her worldwide tour.

Lady Gaga will come Down Under in August with her artRAVE, The ARTPOP Ball tour.

The singer announced last year she was returning to Australia on a promotional visit and on Thursday fans were thrilled to learn the dates for the Australian leg of her worldwide tour.

General public tickets go on sale February 25.

August 20 - Perth Arena, Perth

August 23 - Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne

August 26 - Entertainment Centre, Brisbane

August 30 - Allphones Arena, Sydney
