Lambie concedes team's defeat in Tas poll

Jacqui Lambie says her party's lack of funds was the reason they failed to have any impact in Saturday's Tasmanian state election.

Firebrand former senator Jacqui Lambie has conceded her team won't win any seats at the Tasmanian state election.

"We are big enough to come out and say tonight we been defeated. Not for lack of trying. Not because of who we are," she told a small group of supporters.

"... we got done over by cash. We just didn't have it."

Ms Lambie, who did not stand herself but ran a team of 12 under the Jacqui Lambie Network, said she was proud of their "squeaky clean campaign".

"This is our first election. We came out with six per cent. It is not a bad job."

Meanwhile, Ms Lambie has vowed to return to the Senate after she was forced out when she was found to have dual citizenship.

"I am not going anywhere because that (Senate) seat up there, that is mine."
