Marc Leishman and Cameron Smith are nicely placed just off the pace heading into the final round of the US PGA Tour's first regular-season tournament held in South Korea.
Americans Justin Thomas (70) and Scott Brown (71) share the lead at nine-under par after solid third-round scores in the CJ Cup at the Nine Bridges course on the island of Jeju on Saturday.
But the Australian pair of Leishman and Smith are well within striking distance.
Victorian Leishman carded a 71 to lie two shots off the lead at seven-under with India's Anirban Lahiri (69).
A shot further back, Queenslander Smith - who bogeyed the 18th hole to finish with a 73 - sits alongside local hope Whee Kim and American Lucas Glover.
World No.9 Jason Day struggled with the wind, carding a 71 to be tied for 16th at three-under.
Two late bogeys cost the Australian a chance to make a big move for the title on Sunday and he now appears out of contention.
Adam Scott had his best round of the tournament, a 70, to sit at one-over.
Overnight leader Luke List also found the blustery conditions tough, falling to a tie for eighth after a 76.
List had three bogeys on the front nine and a pair of double bogeys on the back nine.
