Lewis holds 2 stroke lead in China

American Stacy Lewis holds a two-shot lead after the second round of the Reignwood LPGA Classic in China.

Stacy Lewis shot a 5-under 68 Friday to maintain a two-stroke lead over Brittany Lang after the second round of the Reignwood LPGA Classic.

The top-ranked American opened with a bogey but followed that with three birdies on the next four holes and three more on the back nine to get to 12-under 134 overall.

Lang (66) had seven birdies and no bogeys to tie for the low round of the day.

The last time Lang came into the weekend so close to the lead was at the 2012 Manulife Financial LPGA Classic, which she went on to win.

Caroline Masson (68), Mirim Lee (68), Belen Mozo (69) and Caroline Hedwall (71) were tied for third at 8-under 138.

Sarah Kemp was the best of the Australians at even-par overall and in a share of 39th.
