Medical charity Médecins Sans Frontières has welcomed the news that Liberia has officially been declared Ebola free by the World Health Organization.

Medical charity Medecins Sans Frontieres has welcomed the news that Liberia has officially been declared Ebola free by the World Health Organization.

The WHO made the announcement over the weekend after 42 days of no recorded cases, the west African nation.

The deadly virus had killed more than 4,700 people there during a year-long epidemic.

Henry Gray is the head of MSF's Ebola operations and he spoke to Santilla Chingaipe.
