Members of Australia's Liberian community have rallied in Melbourne to call for more action in tackling the Ebola outbreak in west Africa.

According to the World Health Organization, Liberia has been hit the hardest, with more than 3,400 people infected -- more than half of the total number of cases.

The Australian government recently committed eight million dollars to help aid agencies tackle the deadly disease.
