Life-sized castle for Adelaide playground

A playground castle more than four storeys high will be built in an Adelaide park by a council seeking to revitalise the neighbourhood.

A castle bigger than a four-storey building is under construction at a popular Adelaide playground.

The 14-metre castle in St Kilda Adventure Playground will cost $900,000 and is part of a $3.5 million upgrade of the playground.

Work is expected to be completed by October with the castle to include slides, fire poles and a drawbridge, the City of Salisbury says.
