Lilley nabs Finn class spot for Rio

Sailor Jake Lilley will represent Australia in the Finn class at the Rio Olympics.

Queenslander Jake Lilley has beaten out Oliver Tweddell to secure an Olympic sailing debut in the Finn class at the Rio Games.

The 22-year-old world No.3 will head to Rio with some local experience under his belt.

"I've been lucky enough to compete at three regattas there in the last nine months and I think it's a fantastic venue for an Olympic sailing competition," Lilley said on Tuesday.
