People who have lived in Canberra any time since the late 1960s can now check if their home contained deadly "Mr Fluffy" loose fill asbestos.

The ACT government's asbestos response taskforce has published a full list of the 1022 houses that had the loose fill asbestos insulation pumped into their roof spaces between 1968 and 1979, and which are now to be demolished.

The taskforce has urged anyone who lived or worked in any of the houses and has concerns about possible exposure to the deadly material to make contact, although it has stressed the health risks to most people are low.
