Little bear for Emma from Tasmanian boy

A young Tasmanian boy has made a teddy bear for the Australian woman wounded in the Paris terrorist attacks.

An 11-year-old Tasmanian boy has made a special teddy bear for the Australian victim of the Paris terrorist attacks.

Liberal MP Andrew Nikolic brought the gift - as well as one for Emma Parkinson's mum - from Campbell Remess to Canberra on Monday, which he will give to Foreign Minister Julie Bishop to pass on.

"It's not often you see any person show this sort of generosity of spirit, but for a little 11-year-old to teach himself how to sew, to come up with this sort of plan ... I think is pretty special," he told reporters.
