You would think that in the age of camera phones and social media there would finally be clear proof of the existence of the Loch Ness monster.
Unfortunately, Nessie continues to evade keen-eyed hunters, but a recent YouTube video has added to the mystery surrounding her existence and the file of near-sightings of a large water creature over the centuries.
Posted to YouTube by user Penn Plate, the clip appears to show a large creature moving through London's River Thames.
More than 190 comments have been posted under the video, which has been viewed more than 440,000 times.
So, is this proof the Loch Ness monster is enjoying a holiday in England?
You decide.
"Something huge was moving under the water and then briefly surfaced," the user said in the clip's caption.
"Are there whales in the Thames? Or is it some weird submarine?"
One commenter said: "I don't know what annoys me more. The fleeting glimpse of something cool, or the fact that you had a huge landscape like that and you chose to hold your phone in portrait like a muppet."
Another comment said: "That's obviously a giant man eating, boat sinking sea monster."
