Long jump win for Lapierre in Zagreb

Australian Fabrice Lapierre has claimed a dominant victory in the men's long jump at the IAAF World Challenge meet in Zagreb.

Lapierre's winning jump was 8.29m, five centimetres further than his silver medal-winning effort at last month's world championships in Beijing.

Britain's Daniel Bramble was a distant second in Zagreb with a best leap of 7.99m.
