Lopez more relaxed about her body

Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez says she is far more relaxed about the way she views her body but admits she is not one to over indulge in food.

Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez feels more relaxed about the her looks.

Lopez, 44, is known for her curves and flawless skin but her attitude to her body has changed in recent years.

"It's funny because I've become so much more relaxed about how I look," she's told the British edition of Marie Claire.

"And I'm a bit spoiled. Don't get me wrong: I get that. I've got an athletic boy. I've worked out my entire life and I've been incredibly disciplined when I needed to be. But it's also hard to shed that old skin."

Lopez is mum to five-year-old twins Max and Emme, from her marriage to Marc Anthony.

She has been dating dancer Casper Smart for more than two years and despite numerous rumours that the pair have split, they remain a happy union.

Even though Jennifer has a new attitude when it comes to her body, she does admit she faces an internal battle when it comes to her fitness regime.

"I'm OK this way, but at the same time that very ambitious, very determined girl inside me is like, 'Come on, let's be in the best shape ever and really show everybody.' Then the other side of me thinks, 'Let's just relax on the beach chair.'"

Lopez also said she is not one to over indulge and couldn't eat a whole pint of Haagen-Dazs ice-cream.

The On the Floor singer is also a judge on American Idol and laughed that her colleagues Harry Connick Jr and Ryan Seacrest are big eaters.
