It can't sing, but for a cool $NZ3000 ($A2,785), someone's got their hands on Lorde's Muppet look-a-like.

The one-off puppet, made by The Muppets Studio, sports Lorde's signature big hair, dark eye make-up and a big blue nose.

Lorde gave her permission for the the custom 33cm-tall Muppet to be made and it's been auctioned on Trade Me to raise money for the Starship Foundation.

The fundraiser coincides with the release of the latest Muppets movie, Muppets Most Wanted.

Two-time Grammy Award winner Lorde is on tour in the US and has just performed at the second weekend of the Coachella music festival in California.
