Kiwi singer Lorde has reflected on 2014 as a year of a hundred empty compliments and genuine love.
She looked back on amazing experiences in 2014 in a post on Tumblr.
"It was walking through glasgow late, treading the same loop of worn stones, hearing a busker sing royals and being sure i was dreaming," she wrote.
It was the year of peering through windows into beautiful rooms and of crying alone in hotels while the sun came up.
"It was back entrances and superstars and hotel floors just for us."
She also managed to fit in shucking scallops with her parents and walking in the wilderness.
Some times she felt "like s***" and other times like pure heaven.
She thanked her fans in the message.
Lorde toured during 2014 after her debut single Royals and debut studio album Pure Heroine were released in 2013.
