Mitchell Johnson is expecting a civil reception from the Lord's faithful on Thursday.
The second Ashes Test will be Johnson's first Test at the home of cricket since 2009, when the left-armer was mercilessly mocked for his scattergun bowling.
Johnson exacted a degree of revenge in the 2013-14 Ashes, taking 37 wickets.
However he was largely ineffectual in last week's first Test, finishing with match figures of 2-180 on a docile deck.
Johnson was goaded by many England fans in the sell-out crowd at Sophia Gardens.
The ridicule was at its most robust when Johnson's bowling figures ticked past 0-100 in the first dig.
The 33-year-old responded by doffing his cap and kissing the badge.
"I turned around a couple of times and gave a little bit back, try and make them laugh," Johnson told Fox Sports.
"It's all in good fun. It's not going to be the same here I don't think.
"It's a bit more civil here at Lord's and I'm looking forward to playing here."
England paceman Stuart Broad suggested his side would take a lot of confidence out of the way they neutralised Johnson in Cardiff.
"He's a crucial player for them and I thought we played him fantastically well on a wicket that didn't suit him particularly well," Broad said.
"After what he did to us two years ago, to play with the mentality we did against him - it will give our guys a lot of confidence."
