Indianapolis quarterback Andrew Luck was selected first in the Pro Bowl player draft for the second year in a row on Wednesday as rosters were assembled for Sunday's NFL all-star showdown.
Colts signal-caller Luck was taken first by the club guided by receiver Cris Carter while Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was the top choice of the club picked by Carter's fellow Hall of Fame pass catcher, Michael Irvin.
Luck's unit includes captains J.J. Watt, a star defensive end for Houston, and Pittsburgh receiver Antonio Brown. Baltimore's John Harbaugh will coach Carter's team.
Former Cowboys receiver Irvin tabbed Dallas coach Jason Garrett as his coach as well as taking Romo from his former side. NFL rushing leader DeMarco Murray of Dallas and Cleveland cornerback Joe Haden helped Irvin select his squad.
The game will be staged Sunday at University of Phoenix Stadium, the venue for the Super Bowl NFL championship spectacle between New England and defending champion Seattle on February 1.
