Kiwi hooker Issac Luke has been named captain of South Sydney's Auckland Nines squad.
With new skipper Greg Inglis rested, Luke will lead a strong squad also featuring fellow internationals George Burgess, Dylan Walker and Bryson Goodwin.
Luke will captain the Rabbitohs for the first time in New Zealand when South Sydney contests next weekend's tournament at Eden Park.
The squad also features Queensland backrower Chris McQueen, Emerging Maroons forward Dave Tyrrell and ex-Test flyer Matt King who will don the South Sydney colours for the first time since returning from his 2013 retirement.
South Sydney have been grouped with the Cowboys, the Storm and Panthers.
