Snubbed Socceroo Luke Wilkshire has left his Russian club to join Dutch powerhouse Feyenoord.

Wilkshire, who was one of the last men cut from Australia's squad for the recent World Cup in Brazil, has departed Dynamo Moscow after signing a one-year deal with Feyenoord.

The 32-year-old, a veteran of 80 internationals for the Socceroos, had played for Dynamo since 2008.

"Our policy is aimed to fill with great talents from outside," Feyenoord's technical director Martin van Geel told the club's website.

"We believe that talent can only develop on the basis of experienced players. In that respect, Luke Wilkshire is a very welcome reinforcement."
