Lupita Nyong'o snaps 'losers' selfie

12 Years a Slave star Lupita Nyong'o took her BAFTAs loss in good humour by posting a 'losers' selfie on Instagram.

Actress Lupita Nyong'o enjoyed taking `losers' selfies at the BAFTAs official after-party.

The 12 Years a Slave star was up for best supporting actress at the awards ceremony held in London on Sunday.

She may have lost out to Jennifer Lawrence and Will Poulter respectively, but Nyong'o was the star of the night in her green Dior Couture gown.

As well as getting her picture professionally taken on the red carpet, the 30-year-old actress took time for a selfie with her co-star Michael Fassbender.

"#EEBAFTAs Losers Selfie with Fasso. #ingoodcompany. (sic)" she posted on Instagram, attaching a snap of herself and Fassbender smiling for the camera.

Nyong'o wore a strapless Dior gown that was tight fitting at the top, then cascaded into a fishtail finish on the skirt.

The actress highlighted her tiny waist with a metallic gold belt around the middle and matching cuff bracelets finished off the look.

She's recently been linked to Dallas Buyers Club actor Jared Leto, but Nyong'o brought her mother along as her BAFTAs date.

"Perfect #EEBAFTAs gift from my intuitive mother: my cousin Kwame Nyong'o's latest children's book" she wrote on Instagram.
