Luxury trekking has been introduced to the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Great Walk in Queensland.
Travellers wanting to tackle the 58-kilometre nature walk now have a luxe option that includes high-end accommodation, spa baths and fine food and wine.
The luxury experience is being offered by Narrows Escape Rainforest Retreat, near Montville, and has been created to celebrate the retreat's reopening following a major upgrade.
The Great Walk trail crosses the peaks and ravines of the Blackall Range, and also takes in Kondalilla National Park, Mapleton Falls National Park and Mapleton Forest Reserve.
