Lynx thump Sparks in WNBA finals

Minnesota have tied the WNBA finals series up at 1-1 after winning game two.

Minnesota Lynx have beaten the Los Angeles Sparks 79-60 to lock the WNBA finals series up at 1-1.

Maya Moore had 21 points and 12 rebounds to steer the Lynx to victory on Tuesday night.

Sylvia Fowles had 13 points and 15 boards and Minnesota held Los Angeles to 32.9 per cent shooting to bounce back from a last-second loss in the series opener.

The best-of-five series continues in Los Angeles on Friday.
