Fremantle coach Ross Lyon is confident they can put their round-one flop behind them in Saturday's AFL clash with Gold Coast at Domain Stadium.
The Dockers entered the season as a premiership fancy but were sent crashing to earth last week in a 65-point thrashing at the hands of the Western Bulldogs.
Former Docker Luke McPharlin reckons the review of the defeat would have been horrendous for his old teammates.
However Lyon says he was able to pinpoint where they fell down and is confident of an improved performance.
"We believe in ourselves and we believe we can turn it around," he said on Friday.
"We didn't enjoy our performance but the beauty is it's a 22-game season. It's never as good and it's never as bad as you think.
"We reviewed sharply. It counted. We don't just put it in the bin and pretend it didn't happen.
"But we also don't dwell on it."
Gold Coast started their season with a 61-point win over undermanned Essendon.
But the Suns will need to end their horrible record in Perth if they are to taste victory against Fremantle.
Gold Coast have lost all seven of their matches at Domain Stadium, with the average losing margin a whopping 50 points.
The Suns have lost Matt Rosa (calf) and Touk Miller (ankle) to injury but welcome back Kade Kolodjashnij and Brandon Matera.
Lyon has dropped Tendai Mzungu, Jon Griffin and Matt Taberner in the wake of last week's loss, while ruckman Zac Clarke was ruled out with a knee injury.
Ruckman Aaron Sandilands (suspension) and defender Michael Johnson (calf) return to the side alongside utility Alex Pearce and second-year midfielder Ed Langdon.
Sandilands played just once during the pre-season but the 211cm giant insists he's match fit heading into Saturday's clash.
