A man has serious chest injuries after heavy machinery toppled on him at a Gold Coast worksite.
Critical care paramedics treated the man before he was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition, following the accident in Helensvale on Wednesday morning.
It's believed the man was initially trapped after he was hit by the equipment, a Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said.
