Macquarie Atlas toll revenue, traffic up

Macquarie Atlas Roads says toll revenue and traffic volumes for the March quarter were higher on three of its four toll roads.

Global toll roads operator Macquarie Atlas Roads has lifted toll revenue for the March quarter by 5.4 per cent, and traffic volumes by 3.4 per cent, compared to the prior corresponding period.

Macquarie Atlas says the AAPR and Adelac tollways in France, and the Warnow Tunnel in Germany lifted performance, but the Dulles Greenway toll road in the US was negatively impacted by the earlier timing of the spring break holiday, federal government shutdowns and adverse weather conditions.

Macquarie Atlas securities were two cents, or 0.3 per cent, higher at $5.93 at 1018 AEST on Tuesday.
