Hard-hitting batsman Nic Maddinson is to team-up with Australia team-mate Aaron Finch for English county Surrey's Twenty20 Blast campaign.
Maddinson, who has played two T20 internationals and three Tests, will join Finch as Surrey's second overseas player after both have completed their forthcoming Australia tour commitments.
Left-hander Maddinson is in Australia's squad for the one-off T20 match against England at the end of this month.
Finch will captain the Australia T20 team and is also set for a key role throughout the full tour of England, which includes five one-day internationals which start on.
Maddinson, 26, who having previously played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League and Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash, said: "I very much look forward to playing with Surrey during this year's Vitality Blast season.
"It's a fabulous opportunity to play at a great sporting organisation such as Surrey County Cricket Club and with my Australian counterpart Aaron Finch ... let's hope I can help Surrey win the title."
