Collingwood have looked to club great Lou Richards for inspiration as they attempt to turn their faltering AFL season around.
Coach Nathan Buckley showed a video tribute to Richards to his players on Tuesday morning after the 250-game player and 1953 premiership captain passed away on Monday.
"It's a pretty good example to use ... you've got a guy who's diminutive and didn't have a lot of athletic traits, but just did it on guts and will and because he wanted it more than others did. It's a pretty good lesson for us all," Buckley said.
